Title: Gone to Seed // Artist: Jill Bergman

about the piece

The wildflowers where my dogs and I walk are very appreciated in the spring and summer, but also once they have gone to seed. The crisp seed heads and curdled, fragile leaves have their own interesting beauty. Even though they look dead, I know they will sprout from the roots in the spring. And if that fails, hopefully the intrepid seeds will start a new generation as the snow melts.
