Dismemberment
by M. Campbell
here is my femur,
Venezuela, may it allow you to
take to the mountains to
begin anew, and for Sudan my
intestines as you
filter through what is forced and what
is you, for The Congo my
ulna and radius to
push back the west and
Kurdistan, my hands are yours as you
weave a space to rest and
oh Gaza, what can I give you, the
bleeding heart of the earth and
how much I would unwind myself to
bind our wounds, to
fill our dearth.
