Title: Vengeful // Artist: Fable McKinley
about the piece
| “Vengeful” is a piece where monsters created from rage do not sulk in shadows, but instead come into the light. A confident figure smirks knowingly out from a dark forest filled with swirls of emotions. A moment caught, the moment an act of vengeance is embraced as essential. |
about the artist // Fable McKinley
| Fable McKinley is a digital collage artist whose work explores feminine power through a Victorian gothic lens. She combines layered imagery, rich color, and romantic shadow to create figures that feel both dreamlike and resolute. Influenced by fantasy and art history, McKinley transforms fragments into visual narratives rooted in strength and transformation. A mother of three daughters, she is motivated by the desire to see women portrayed as sovereign and enduring. She studied art history and continues to develop her practice independently in digital collage. |
