Title: In the Alyssum // Artist: Tinamarie Cox
about the piece
| “In the Alyssum” is a digital photography piece taken during the early summer in my garden. I love nature photography and seizing a moment in life that is fleeting. Alyssum became one of my favorite flowers to grow about 2 years ago. I was just looking for some filler plants but as the alyssum took, spread, and bloomed, I fell in love. Something so sweet and precious about these tiny white flowers captures my eye. I have quite a few photographs of my alyssum and some of those images have been filtered to give this simple flowering plant a bold look. There’s no special meaning behind my flower photography except making time stand still so I can continue to admire nature’s beauty. |
