| This piece is acrylic and charcoal on raw canvas and was made during my pregnancy with my daughter during a time where growth was a main focus for me in many ways–the way I was growing a human inside of my body, the way my body was growing to accommodate her, and the ways in which I was growing emotionally and spiritually in the process. This piece aims to show that although growth doesn’t always feel easy, it’s often beautiful. |
