| “Sparkling Wine” is a multimedia piece created to expose the juxtaposition of womanhood. The vibrancy of the acrylic and water color paint express whimsy and feminity while the news print that covers the subject’s skin mirrors the heavy emotional burden that women carry. The wine itself is a nod to the celebratory nature of women, but also the methods we use to ease discomfort. |
